Bracknell Roofing have successfully completed the tiling and single-ply work for a large new McCarthy and Stone retirement development.
This project included the refurbishment of the original Graham Chiesman building along with a large new build to complete the project.
Bracknell Roofing’s experienced tilers worked with the Contractors carpenters whilst stripping the original building to allow for timber replacement, along with ensuring that every tile was clipped and nailed so as not to damage any tiles due to the difficulties in replacing damaged tiles in the future.
The apartment buildings were tiled using Sandtoft 20/20 tiles along with single-ply roofs to the lower level apartments including an 80-metre asphalt box gutter to allow for water management.
Bracknell’s lead worker was kept very busy as the build included 25 lead clad dormers adding a beautiful aesthetic appearance to the overall build.
All works were carried out in accordance with Sandtoft Roof tile specifications and the end result was a lovely building smoothly incorporating a refurbished building alongside new build.
