Client: Hardwick Construction
Services: Roof Slating, Roof Tiling
Two luxury properties for Hardwick construction are now complete in a traditional clay roof covering courtesy of work by the Midlands branch of Bracknell Roofing.
The two properties, each with a roof area of approximately 170m2, use traditional clay plain tiles. One of the properties is covered with new tiles; the second property uses reclaimed clay tiles.
The work completed was to the two main roofs and lower roofs of the properties, including dormers and porches. Each property had its own separately located garage, tiled in the same tile as its associated property. All of the lead work to the two roof coverings was completed by Bracknell Roofing lead workers.
The design of the roof integrates a close cut and mitred valley system and fully mortar bedded roof covering, to emphasise the aesthetical values of a traditional clay tiled roof.
The two properties sit adjacent to a busy main route into Melbourne; Delivery of materials to site had to be planned efficiently to make sure of minimum disruption to both on-site work with other trades and to public traffic.
