Staff at the Warrington branch bid a fond farewell to delivery driver and storeman Bill Moore, who has retired after eight years with Bracknell Roofing.
Bill was well liked by the team at the Melford Court-based branch because he was very reliable and well known for on-time deliveries.
Divisional Director Simon Smith was on hand to mark the occasion of Bill’s last day and wished him well for a long and happy retirement.
Simon thanked him for his contribution to the business, which saw him delivering materials to sites in his 7.5 tonne flatbed truck from Blackburn to Northwich and from Rhyl to Bolton – and everywhere in-between.
Simon said: “Bill has been a real asset to Bracknell Roofing for nearly a decade because the Warrington branch was reliant on him getting materials to sites all over the North West so that our teams of roofers could complete projects on time. He will be a hard act to follow.”
Staff at the Warrington branch all agreed that instead of a night out to celebrate Bill’s retirement, he will join the team at this year’s Christmas party for one last knees-up.
