Our national network of branches throughout England and Wales offer the resources of a national contractor and the hands-on, face-to-face approach of a local company.

Established in 1973, we have grown to become one of the largest roofing contractors in the UK today. You also have the peace of mind that we incorporate many construction competencies and have extensive roofing experience, including a highly experienced management team with many years in the industry.

Our skilled workforce is extremely qualified to deliver your contract to the hightest of standards.  We conduct ourselves with professionalism which keeps our existing clients returning with their new projects.

We are highly committed to developing the skills of our team even further, and we continually invest in the development of our roofers and apprentices. We offer an industry-leading, long-term apprenticeship programme designed to drive forward the development of the ‘roofers of the future’.

We do this by putting it at the top of our own agenda. As a responsible organisation, our commitment to reducing our environmental impact sees us taking tight control over our waste management and recycling. We also take pride in working with responsible manufacturers, suppliers and products. We are committed to pushing sustainable solutions and using A+ rated products under the BRE green guide wherever possible.

Health and Safety

At Bracknell Roofing, health & safety is key to everything.

With our zero-tolerance approach, we rely on a formal set of guidelines to establish safety standards and frameworks to protect our clients, our own team, sub-contractors and the general public. We focus on every single one of our employees’ responsibilities. This is clearly reflected in our safety motto: “Safety is key, it’s up to you and me.”

Our safety-first mindset includes making sure we are compliant with all relevant statutory requirements, regulations and Codes of Practice. To help us achieve this, we take safety advice from specialist consultants, as well as having the Etex Group health & safety guidance and access to their experts. We have a comprehensive Health & Safety Management System, managed by our in-house professionally qualified Health & Safety management team.

  • Ensuring our contract managers are all SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) as a minimum
  • Having SSSTS (Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme) qualified personnel in all site teams
  • Our management team all being IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) trained as a minimum
  • Membership of the NFRC, the British Safety Council, Builders Profile, and Constructionline (the UK government certification service), which means we hold SSIP, SMAS and CHAS accreditations

  • All site operative trade teams are trained to NVQ Level 2 as a minimum
  • We only use approved sub contractors and suppliers who have passed our rigorous approval process
  • KPIs are in place to ensure standards of excellence are met.

  • We hold membership to the National Federation of Roofing Contractors
  • We are Competent Roofer certified

Apprenticeships

With a two-year industry-leading Apprenticeship at Bracknell Roofing, there is the opportunity to gain hands-on roofing skills as well as a practical qualification.

We have invested time and resources, including working with the Construction Industry Training Board and other like-minded, forward-thinking organisations within the roofing industry to ensure our apprenticeship programme offers the highest standards. We also invest in Commercial Apprenticeships working toward NVQ Level 3 in Construction Management.

Training

We have a learning culture that places great emphasis on education and training.

As a roofing contractor, this enables us to continually offer our customers the highest standards from highly trained team members and continue to evolve our own business systems.

We are committed to high quality development in our industry as well as in our own business. With all this in mind, we offer roofing apprenticeships, plus technical and professional training across a range of activities. When it comes to safety – which drives everything we do – we carry out both induction training as well as on-going safety awareness initiatives for our workforce.
